Terms of Service

Last updated September 8, 2026

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and datawirefra.me ("we", "us", "our") covering this website and the app at app.datawirefra.me. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

If you are using datawirefra.me on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

The service

datawirefra.me is a tool for designing dashboard wireframes and turning them into a build specification. It is a design and documentation tool: it does not connect to your data warehouse, and the charts it draws are illustrative placeholders, not analysis of real data.

We add, change and occasionally remove features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in advance whenever we reasonably can.

Your account

You need an account to save work. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

One account is for one person. You may invite collaborators to a dashboard; you may not share a single set of sign-in credentials between people.

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.

Your content

Your wireframes, notes, comments and everything else you create remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, display it back to you and to collaborators you invite, process it to produce exports and specifications you ask for, and send it to the AI provider when you use an AI feature. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for not putting anything unlawful into the service. Please do not put secrets, credentials or personal data about other people into a wireframe: it is a design document, not a vault.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or distribute malware. Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, probe or overload our infrastructure, or resell access to the service as your own product.

Automated access beyond ordinary use of the app — scraping, bulk generation, or driving the AI endpoint from a script — is not permitted without our agreement. We apply rate limits, and we may suspend an account that persistently works around them.

AI features

The assistant generates wireframe elements from a description you write. Two ways to use it: with your own Anthropic API key, in which case generation is billed to your Anthropic account and is not metered by us; or with our built-in assistant, which spends credits from your plan.

Bringing your own key is free and unlimited, and will remain so. Credits for the built-in assistant refill monthly, do not carry over between periods unless they were separately purchased, and have no cash value.

AI output is generated automatically and is not reviewed by us. It can be wrong, and it is a starting point rather than a finished specification. Check it before you rely on it. Prompts and the wireframe context needed to answer them are sent to Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf; see our Privacy Policy.

The free plan

There is a free plan, and the capabilities listed as free on our pricing page — including unlimited wireframes, notes on elements, and AI generation using your own API key — stay free. We may change what the paid plans include; we will not move those particular things behind a paywall.

Free accounts may be subject to reasonable limits on rate and volume so that the service stays available to everyone.

Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller for your purchase, handles payment, and is responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax and VAT. Your purchase is also subject to their terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

Prices may change. An increase will not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will give notice before it applies to your renewal.

Refunds

If the service does not work as described, tell us within 14 days of your payment and we will refund it. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By starting to use a paid feature immediately you may be asked to acknowledge that this period begins at once; nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by contract.

Cancellation and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, under Danger Zone. Deletion is immediate and removes your dashboards, folders, comments, credits and preferences, cancels share links you own, and cannot be undone. Export anything you want to keep first.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. We do not currently offer a service level agreement.

Keep your own copies of anything important. The export features exist for exactly that, and using them is the only backup guarantee we can honestly offer.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty Canadian dollars.

If you are a consumer, these limits apply only so far as your local consumer law permits.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. Material changes will be announced by updating the date below and, for account holders, by email or a notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Quebec have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
